Big K.R.I.T. - Return of 4Eva

Big K.R.I.T is mos def one of the best rappers doing it right now in my opinion. He won my best pick for last year in the dirty dirty south rap league, and he is a constant go to, day in day out. KRIT, which stands for King Remembered In Time, may have surpassed his earlier work on this release, which is miraculously free for one and all at this website here. Shit is crazy. Bangin south beats mixed with classic styles and sample. Solid rapper with a strong intellect and a street understanding, while still bringing his formulas on some fresh shit. I have often heard samples I have used in the past pop up in his beats, for whatever that is worth. He is a fuckin monster on the mic and the beats, and both are on full display on this release. Check it now.

One other thing. Shadow Shogun now has a twitter account (follow @SSBeats). This acts in co-ordination with a greater push to have more ways for Shadow Shogun to serve the artists and the listeners that it consists of and appreciates. More than the blog or collective of DJs, it will serve as an imprint for various artists like myself to release music, operating in conjunction with a variety of other amazing people in a co-operative collective that has yet to fully form. We are building, though, so stay tuned.
