Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to Ryan Wells.

Ryan grew up with my cousin Tobi (who's more like a brother than a cousin at this point) out in Nelson, BC and that's how I got to know him. In his visits to Calgary I've got to see both his calm side and his rambunctious side, from chilling and watching some March Madness together all the way to playing a party together. But that description is a little deceiving, because Ryan doesn't ever really 'calm' down.

If I were to describe him in any way, it would be the embodiment of pure energy and the life of the party. The first Shambhala I attended after meeting him, he didn't sleep the whole weekend. The second, he came out a day after being released from the hospital with a fucking PUNCTURED LUNG. When its summertime, he heads out to the BC forests to fight forest fires. Simply put, this guy don't fuggaround!

And just in time for the end of January, he's supplying us with the second installment in the 'Way of the Shadow' mix series heavily loaded with the party-bounce. Heres what he had to say:

"Whats up everyone? Glad to have the privilege to be a part of the Way of the Shadow series. For this mix I went with an uptempo set that was made for loud volumes - bit of electro, breaks, house, booty, bassline and some other stuff in between. Hope you enjoy.
