Tipped off to this mix from the wondersome 92 bpm blog (original post here) is this sweet, crunchy, smooth, and overall awesomely robotic funkin mix of beats + blips brought to the universe by Dj Take. He's from Los Angeles and has a full length coming out on Alpha Pup, following up a selection of work for various other labels including Plug Research, Eat Concrete, and Poobah. This mix of tracks runs from left field wandering excursions into sunny day soul and back through knocking synth beats and is quite nice. He has a couple tracks/remixes on it too.

Coming in with pretty much equal parts of hip hop, club rap, dubstep, and grime is this latest podcast from Colchester DMC Champ and party rocker  DJ Cable. He has won acclaim for his skills on the decks and his ability to kill a party, in addition to his remix abilities and his madly popular Thugstep mashups. Big UK selector. This mix is definitely a bit more of a lively party tape so with that in mid DL it and get live.

A two track release with some super awesome spacey and knockin tracks. Heavily dipped in equal parts Dilla drums and soulful elements and vibes. Add a little daze to your day. This trip back to the classic days of way back comes from the perspective of a couple of young hip hop cats coming from the east coast hotbed of Canadian hip-hop -  a young Buck 65 alongside an equally young Jo Run. This was originally a tape that Canadian heavy hitter Producer and DJ Big Moves recorded way back when and just recently remastered and shared with the world wide web via his blog (shared with Birdapres and Fritz the Cat) here at Living Underwater. He has been steadily remastering and posting these classic shows, and pieces of Canadian hip hop history, at the blog - so get over there and check it out. Good shit.

Another pay what you want (including nothing if you`re on a low budget) release from the wonderful people over at Neferiu (who also released my last album CHOPLIFTER!)... this one coming from Dj Moves and Fatt Matt who collectively form Rusty Hooks.
