A Dash Of Dub

 DJ Xol - Dubwize Pressure

( REGGAE JUNGLE / DRUM + BASS )

Repping the Madrid Massive out of Spain (obviously) comes this nice rolling reggae jungle mix that hits all the right notes with me. Been bumping it now when I need some of the sweet kush sounds. Makes me realize that summer is closer than ever right now... Big up to DJ Xol on this one, check his soundcloud page or the link for his crew page above for more mixes.

Speaking of Spanish bass music...

Tuffist + Aries - Dubstep North American Tour Mix

( DUBSTEP )

Tuffist + Aries - Dubplate Ragga Jungle Mix Feb 2010

( REGGAE JUNGLE / DRUM + BASS )

Courtesy of the rude boys over at The Rinse Out who are also responsible for the Modern Math jams and many great happenings in the city of Calgary, bassheads in said city have a chance to get low to the sounds of Tuffist and Aries tomorrow night. In this post here they talk about the show and link up a couple links that Aries + Tuffist put together for their tour (the same links found above). One is dubstep, the other is reggae jungle. How could you pass it up? Together they add up to no more than seventy minutes so get into it.

OR - check out Aries' soundcloud page for more mixes and tracks.

DJ D-Rec - No, I`m Not Jamaican... But Yes, I`m A Rasta Mix

( RAP / REGGAE / HIP HOP )

From Vancouver's DJ D-Rec (reppin the POS crew) comes this heavily armed mix, featuring classic rap tracks and reggae flavored jams all interspersed with on point cuts and mixing. If you are smoking weed right now, or thinking about doing it listening to rap, maybe get this in the system. Even if you don't smoke vibe on this mix that clocks in at over forty tracks all done up in a very classic style. Raw riddims and raps.

Check for D-Rec holding down the ones and twos in Vancouver on Friday, March 5th for a massive bill of Canadian underground rap with Royal T + Lev, Planit, Chadio, Kaboom, and Fatt Matt. Check the facebook event page here.

He also makes heavy beats and does cuts so check his myspace page here.

Respect!
