One quick mix that I think everyone might like. Let's see if I can squeeze this in before the month is over... nope, time is up. Fuck.
Oh well! This is a rowdy fun little mix from early October that came out of the disrupt:on blog. The man behind the wheels today is none other than Mensah, a rudebwoy from Bristol who pals around with heavy hitters like Acumen's favorite DJ/Producer Joker (who I had a chance to see bring down the house out here in Van + who had his tune 'Psychadelic Runway' remixed by Mensah). He has some heavy tunes out, including a couple on LoDubs, and has more in the works. Most definitely a dude to watch out for. This mix features some more popular tunes from the past while with some special Mensah versions and other shit I've never heard before (Chasing Shadows @ 35:40 'Ill' what?!?). Although he has a heavy dubstep sound, he shies away form that label and his selections here also run from dubstep to grime and more 4/4 electro selections towards the end of the mix. Rude as all hell but slick. I'm curious to see what's up next with this guy.
