Yo folks, I'm getting off my ass in a big way to close out the month. So stay tuned in for the Shadow Shogun goodness in the next week.

This mix is continuing a trend I've noticed with the nouveaux liquid sounds that DnB has been pumping out recently. That is, it's got some fucking serious soul to it. This one carries nicely with a distinct vibe and nicely unified tracks that all have a certain essence to em. Furthermore, the rhythm of the mix as a whole is great, never peaking or dropping for too long and never making you lose interest. The name of the mix says it all - this is 'Liquid Love.'

The author of this fine work is a man who calls himself Halfpint and hails from the Drum'n'Bass hotbed of New Zealand. This gives him default status as a damn good man, because honestly, have you ever met a Kiwi who wasn't ill shit? Thought not... Anyways, coming from NZ has given him a broad exposure to dope DnB so that, in his 5 years of DJing, his skills as a connoisseur have been honed and he can easily pick out the real heaters whenever he hears 'em. His approach, in his own words, is "hedonistic in the sense that, all I do is make mixes of the tunes that I like the most, mix them as skillfully as I can, then rinse them on repeat!"
