Really Good - DJ Wakcutt

I met this talented and respected DJ through my homie Planit, aka the Dirty Sample, aka Professor Mandrake, aka the Sad Ape, aka Apeface, aka et cetera.... Ian Wakcutt came through the studio I shared with Planit back in Calgary to hit some cuts for a couple projects Planit had on the go. He would come through once a year to drop some crazy scratches and get smoked out and whatnot. He always leaves a trail of dope cuts in his wake, and he has been known to fully rock a party or two, including the legendary Shambhala festival. Don't let the name lead you astray; Wakcutt is on point. And he's a super chill dude too. Make sure you take advantage of the fact that he uploaded these three mixes and made them available for your free listening enjoyment because if you sleep on this you are missing a great Canadian DJ doing what he does best - rinsing out big tunes and keeping the vibe up with some nice cuts and mixes. Give him a high five next time you see him.

By the way, for those who are interested in Shambhala trivia, Wakcutt is credited as being the first person to make the legendary 'Really Good' sign at the Mat the Alien set in 2007, which has evolved considerably since then.
