(CLASSIC DRUM'N'BASS)The name says it all really, this mix is something that, in retrospect, defines a period of time in my life when I listened to it over and over and over again, and I've listened to it countless times since. It's not knock your socks off brand new shit as it is 10 years old, but it is timeless and it is classic.
Aphrodite was one of the old leaders of Drum'n'Bass, and the KING of the 'Jump Up' style. For those more well-versed in the current dubstep scene, there is alot of parallels you can draw between him 10 years ago and Rusko now. Starting with his quality sound that would hype people up and tear down dancefloors and going all the way down to people bitching and moaning about how big he's getting and the formulaic construction of his songs. Those people are called haters and, on Shadow Shogun, we tell those people to go suck on Bigfoots left testicle. Quality is quality, heat is heat. This is both, get it in ya.
