The dudes over in Washington hold down Funkadelic Freestyles at the George Washington University. FWMJ from Rappers I Know also does his thing. They hooked up to put out this nice little mixtape series, shining some light on a whole slew of dope rappers from all over the place. In this first edition, The Off Season, they pulled in some real talent, including some better known names like Akrobatik & Mr. Lif, Oddisee, Danny brown, X.O., Finale, and DJ Spinna, as well as some low key cats. Hard to say who comes better, but this is a nice solid project featuring new material, so why front on little details? Just dl it and check it out.
