Fuck Humility.

So my partner in crime on this little project is Metawon, DJ/Producer extraordinaire... well, the Captain's a little too humble to plug himself it seems, but, as I say in the title of this post, Fuck Humility, and the horse it rode in on.

Meta's been making music for probably about 5 or 6 years now, and spinning records (100% Vinyl, recognize!) in some capacity for probably about 10. He's collaborated with artists such as Dragon Fli Empire and Overit, held down weekly residencies and spun at numerous parties, events, workshops, and whatever the hell else you can think of. Ask folks in the Alberta hip hop circuit who their favorite prooducers are, and he'll be right near the top of the list with cats like Nato (from Edmonton), now that he's moved out to Vancouver he'll be making a name for himself out there too.

Some 4 years ago, he met crewmember Planit/Dirty Sample while they worked together at a local record/clothing shop called Fameless. Well, those 2 got on like peas and carrots, and soon began making tracks together, and even splitting the same studio for the last 2 years. Now, out in Vancouver together, they've got some work under their belts. Planits been prolific in putting out albums under either Planit or his beat-making alter ego the Dirty Sample, and now, with their site Work Turkey, they've got their shit together in a place where you can download, listen, and most definitely love.
