I'm back!!!
It's been almost a month since I was able to post something up here due to my recent (and hectic) move from Calgary to Vancouver. Big ups to Acumen for keeping the blog so solid with heavy amounts of good things to download and listen to. I'll be posting some more of that good new hip hop shit, starting with this little banger.
Produced/compiled entirely by the Alchemist, this is a nice who-is-that-guy? intro to Fashawn, who will have an album fully produced by the beat-wizard Exile coming out on October 20th. This little compilation of tracks is super slick, and features some flips and some straight up beat jacks from some classic hip hop sample staples, including Bob James' 'Nautilus' and Marvin Gaye's 'T Plays It Cool'.
